Understanding about 2K (Double-Shot, Dual-color) Injection Molding
2K injection molding, also known as dual-color injection molding, two-component injection molding, or two-shot injection molding. It uses the 2K injection molding machine to inject two or three materials (colors) simultaneously into the same mold. Unlike over-molding, both materials are injected at the same time, and they will be permanently bonded together once the molding process is completed. The 2k molding process is complex but fast, efficient, and high quality.
